Q: How do LCC Learning’s Online Courses and Programmes work?
A: LCC Learning’s online courses and programmes allow you to structure your studies around your existing commitments – pacing and scheduling are up to you. By the end of the course you will have achieved the equivalent to a year’s study in a given academic subject.

Q: How do I enroll?
A: Please visit this page to view our Academic Courses and this page to view the (not yet lilve) Personal Development Programme. When you find the course you want, click ‘Enroll Now’ and follow the next steps.

Q: How much will it cost?
A: Our online courses can each be purchased as a monthly subscription, at a rate of £36 (£30+VAT).

Q: Who can do LCC Learning’s online courses?
A: Our online courses are designed for anyone.
The Personal Development Programme will suitable for students above the age of 13.

Q: How do I pay?
A: All payment for our online courses is made via our website. When you click ‘enroll’ on a course, this adds it to your virtual shopping cart. You can then proceed to checkout and payment.

Q: I have enrolled in an online course. How do I get started?
A: Go to your account page and click on the progress bar on the right side of the screen to start or resume a course. You need to be logged in to access the courses you are enrolled in.

Q: What learning materials are available as part of the online GCSE courses?
A: All of our learning materials are available and online during your course. These include detailled summaries and exam-style questions covering every topic on the syllabus.

Q: Can I take LCC Learning’s online courses if I do not live in the UK?
A: LCC Learning’s Online Courses and Programmes can be purchased and taken anywhere in the world. However, live classes may not be available if you are in a country that restricts access to online video calls.

Q: Does completing an online Academic Course mean I have gained the official GCSE qualification for that subject?
A: No, the Academic Courses are designed to prepare you for the GCSE assessments, but do not include the official assessments themselves. In order to gain the GCSE qualification, you need to pass the assessments for your chosen subject at an exam centre.

Q: Do the online courses include registration for that subject at an exam centre?
A: LCC Learning does not register students for assessments as part of its Academic Courses; however, if you require assistance finding or registering at an exam centre, please contact us.

Q: Do I need to work through the course in a particular order?
A: You can access the entire course from the outset, so you don’t need to take the modules in a set order. However, your course’s Progress Bar will display the contents of the course in the order we recommend you work through them.

Q: What academic experience do I need to take an online course?
A: Visit this page and click on a course’s title to read more about it, including recommended minimum qualifications and experience to be able to do the course.

Q: What equipment do I need to take an online course?
A: A computer, such as a desktop or laptop PC, is recommended for LCC Learning’s online courses. However, the programmes are also designed to be accessible via mobile phones and tablets.
